Queens, NY — The New York Mets are adding future Hall-of-Famer reliever Craig Kimbrel to their bullpen today before the game against the Athletics.

Kimbrel has a $2.5 million value to his minor league contract that will be on the books once he is activated.

Kimbrel is fifth all-time on the save list with 440 and owns an overall 2.58 ERA over 16 Major League Seasons.
